The pope wears red Prada shoes

That's just one of the many pieces of useless and entirely entertaining trivia that the BBC revealed to us over the last year. Some other gems:

There are 200 million blogs that are no longer being updated.

People get their height from their daddies and their body fat from their mommies.

The Mona Lisa used to hang in Napolean's bedroom.

Thinking about your muscles can make you stronger.

Nelson Mandela often stole pigs as a kid.

Camel's milk has ten times more iron than cow's milk.

This last one is most depressing, but even if cow's milk doesn't have that much iron, it has much else that compensates. An elaboration would involve stating the obvious, so I'll end this post here and use my superior temporal sulcus.
