"A small and routine incident"

That's how Shivpal Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav's brother, described the Noida killings, in which at least 22 people were killed. Shivpal visited Noida yesterday and described what had happened as "chhoti-moti ghatna."

And why didn't his brother, who is the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, visit Noida? The report tells us:
The buzz is that he [Mulayam] didn’t do so because of a so-called ‘Noida jinx’ — apparently, any CM who visits Noida loses the next election.
Priorities, priorities.
