Because of cows...
... our chances of getting malaria decrease.
Immense gratitude should flood over you now, and you should rush out to hug a cow instantly.
In fact, everyone who uses mosquito nets should give 'em up and sleep surrounded by cows. The nets could be used for, um, clothing?
