Frog, not lobster
Devendra Gera writes in to say that the lobster I wrote about here is actually a boiling frog. “The boiling frog treatment,” he says, “has somewhat replaced the slippery slope in debates about civil liberties, rights and privacy.”
I think there is immense scope for a postmodern thesis on a slippery frog.
