The death of a poet
The Afghan poet Nadia Anjuman has been allegedly beaten to death by her husband.
This is only in the news, of course, because there is a poet involved, and not because there is a beating involved. Domestic violence is common, and not just in Asia, but all over the world. Not news at all.
