Hey, that sounds like me

Virender Sehwag has sent a notice to Pepsi challenging them for "use of a Sehwag like voice in their latest commercial". The Times of India reports that he has demanded an apology. He endorses Coca Cola, of course, and it raises the question whether he has control over a voice that merely sounds like his. In a case like this, where Pepsi's intent is to make people believe that the voice in question is indeed Sehwag's, I'm on his side. This is ambush marketing, and it seems needless, given that Pepsi have Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly among their endorsers. Or has Sehwag simply become a bigger draw than them?

In case you didn't know already, his favourite drink is milk.
