The globalising family

Swaminathan Aiyar takes a break from economics and writes about his family, and still his message is the same: globalisation is good. In the process, he invokes John Lennon, whose lyrics, when they are political, incline towards the left. That illustrates one of my beliefs: that the aims of the left, equality and prosperity for all, are best served by free-market economics. More on that some other time.
