Happiness and Pune

I like Pune. I went to college there, met my then-girlfriend-now-wife there and go back every once in a while to recharge batteries and all that. It has the charm and peace of a small town, but all the advantages of Mumbai. I was there last weekend, and will be going there again on Saturday for a quiz. It's a rocking place to hang out in, and if the blogger buddy who accompanied me there last weekend, Chandrahas Choudhury, ever does a post on India's bookshops, Manneys of Pune will surely be rather high on the list. It's also got great tekdis.

No wonder the world's happiest Indians live there.
