Of mammals, and fundamental rights

Gavin Newsom, the mayor of San Francisco, says that Wi-Fi is a "fundamental right," . Google is among the companies vying to provide it for free.

Also, Google ties up with Sun Microsystems to promote its word processing and office software products. The money quote, from Roger Kay, the head of a market research firm:
Is this a threat to Microsoft? Not today. But mammals weren't a threat either when dinosaurs were kings of the earth.
