Manmohanji, come for dinner

Mid Day reports:
A week ago, the BMC went into road-revamp overdrive, spending over Rs 50 lakh to spruce up a few chosen streets.

On what basis were they selected? Simple – they’re the ones Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will use on his visit to the city today.
No surprise. This is quite how I'd expect it to be in times of normalcy, as this is just how I've found it after a natural disaster. I toured Tamil Nadu after the tsunami struck, and wrote about this very phenomenon there.
