Reality TV?
Soap star Smriti Irani, who was a star campaigner for the BJP in the last general elections, has announced that she will embark upon a fast unto death unless Narendra Modi, the chief minister of Gujarat, resigns by December 25. Interestingly, she does not mention the genocide in Gujarat as a reason for this demand. Instead, she is worried about the public image of the party.
Maybe she should fast on national TV, with Modi also live 24/7 on another feed. Ratings will soar.
