Welcome to the world
Isn't it sad that it should actually be a newsworthy thing that there is a village in Punjab where daughters aren't unwanted? Check out the HT story, "They let their daughters live." Headline tells you about a lot more than just one village.
And I wonder if these daughters will actually think it's a favour their parents did them, letting them live in this mean old world. I'd wish for humanity to get extinct, but humans wouldn't be around to learn the lesson, and what would be the fun then?
