Opulence of the proletariat
The Indian Express reports on a grand wedding in Harkishan Singh Surjeet's family.
My view: it's their money, and they can do what they want with it, and opulence means spending, and that helps the economy. Nothing wrong with it at all. My problem with Mr Surjeet is not with what he practises, but with what he preaches.
