Shrinks in uniform
Mid Day reports that the Mumbai police has a unit set up just for marriage counselling, and they've offered to help sort out Karishma Kapoor's marriage. The report lays out the cops' bizarre modus operandi for solving marital disputes, one that involves an element of coercion, especially while speaking with women that the husband may be having an affair with. An officer is quoted as recounting that in one such case:
We told her [the mistress] that the man would never marry her and if she continued living with him, we will initiate action against them. We had to play on her psyche, till she gave up and decided that she didn’t want the married man.Well, well, well.
