Neglecting the minorities

PTI reports:
Karnataka Wakf Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan today announced his decision to resign from the JDS-BJP Ministry, saying he was "upset" over Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy not attending "Eid-ul-Azha" prayers.

[...]

"How can I continue in the Ministry when the minorities are neglected," said Khan, who was once considered close to Kumaraswamy and had even taken the oath of office in the name of Chief Minister while being sworn in.
Heh. My sources also tell me that Kumaraswamy did not go to church on Sunday, another example of how "the minorities are neglected." This, after all, is what our secularism seems to have come down to.
