Rainy day reading

This surely has to be one of the greatest essays written on economics: "What Is Seen and What Is Not Seen," by Frédéric Bastiat.

It explains some basic concepts of economics that are, alas, still not understood by way too many people. Do read it if you have the time, or bookmark it for later. I can't recommend it highly enough.
